Awaited privacy policy

Data collection

Awaited does not collect or send us your countdowns, usage information or device identifiers. The app has no accounts, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics. We do not receive your data or share it with other organisations.

What stays on your device

The names, dates, times, emoji and colours of your countdowns are saved on your device so the app and its widgets can show them. They remain on your device until you change or delete them. Anyone who can see your Home Screen, Lock Screen or watch face can see the countdowns you choose to show there.

Apple Watch

If you use the Apple Watch app, your iPhone sends a copy of your countdowns to your paired watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity. The copy goes directly between your own devices and is not sent to us.

Deleting your countdowns and backups

You can edit or delete countdowns in the app, and deletions are sent to your watch. To remove all of the app's saved data, delete the app from your iPhone and your watch. Offloading the app keeps its saved data.

Apple may include the app's saved data in device backups, depending on your settings. Backups are managed through your Apple device or account settings. We cannot access or delete them.

If you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond and resolve your query.

For privacy questions or to request deletion of your support correspondence, email hello@connectdorset.co.uk. There is no Awaited account to close, and we do not hold a copy of your countdowns.

This page is hosted by Connect Dorset. Visits to the website are covered by the Connect Dorset website privacy policy. Website services are separate from the Awaited app.
